The Dyson Purifier Cool PC2 De‑NOx TP12 is a multifunction air treatment device that combines air purification with cooling airflow to improve indoor air quality while providing comfort. It uses advanced sensing, filtration and airflow technology to continuously monitor and respond to air conditions in your home.
Air Purification and Filtration
The purifier features a fully sealed, three‑stage filtration system, including:
- A HEPA H13 filter that captures 99.95 % of ultrafine particles, including dust, pollen, allergens and bacteria.
- An activated carbon (K‑Carbon) filter, enhanced with potassium carbonate to adsorb up to 50 % more nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) — a common harmful gas from stoves, traffic and combustion appliances.
- A catalytic component that continuously destroys formaldehyde, converting it into harmless substances without the need for replacement.
These technologies work together to remove particles, gases and odors from indoor air.
Cooling Airflow with Air Multiplier™ Technology
In addition to purification, the TP12 functions as a cooling fan, using Air Multiplier™ technology to project a smooth and powerful stream of purified air throughout the room. While it is not an air conditioner, it can help create a cooling breeze during warm weather. The purifier also supports diffused airflow mode for purification without a directed breeze.
Intelligent Sensing and Control
The device is equipped with built‑in air quality sensors that continuously detect pollutants including particulate matter, nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and formaldehyde. The air quality data is shown on the purifier’s LCD screen and can be monitored and controlled remotely via the MyDyson™ app. It also supports compatible voice control services for hands‑free operation.
